FAQs
What is Burnout? Firstly burnout is not a sign of weakness or that you’re a bad worker. Burnout affects the most conscientious and committed workers. It is a normal human response to prolonged and excessive stressful situations without adequate space and time for recovery.
Burnout doesn’t happen overnight. The symptoms can creep up on you. This program aims to provide you with a circuit breaker before you burnout completely.
The World Health Organization defined burnout in 2019 as 'resulting from chronic workplace stress that has not been successfully managed...' (their wording of "not successfully managed" sounds a bit judgey I reckon - the cards are really stacked against contentious workers!)
What are the signs of Burnout? Here are some of the signs of burnout. If you notice one or more of these in yourself, or you feel you’ve been under prolonged stress that you can’t shake off, you may be heading towards burnout.

What are the Sunday Gloomies? Also known as the Sunday Scaries, or Monday dread, it is the phenomenon of feeling despondent, unsettled or other unpleasant feelings as the your time away from work ends and your thoughts start to focus on work. What's the Refund Policy? If you are not able to complete the 8 week program, refunds may be provided for the unused portion of the 1:1 sessions.
